Double Recognition for Our Researcher<\/strong><\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We are pleased to announce the significant achievements of our colleague,\u00a0RNDr. Michal Nemergut, PhD.<\/strong>, who received the\u00a0Slovak Biophysical Society Award for Young Scientists under the Age of 35<\/strong>\u00a0during the XII. Symposium of the Slovak Biophysical Society. The award is presented in recognition of outstanding scientific achievements and contributions to the advancement of biophysical research. It acknowledges the high-quality work of young researchers and their potential to further strengthen Slovak science at the international level. The symposium took place on 27\u201329 May 2026 in Bojnice and was organized by the Slovak Biophysical Society in collaboration with the Institute of Medical Biophysics of the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Martin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Both distinctions are a testament to the long-term excellence of RNDr. Michal Nemergut\u2019s scientific work and represent an important recognition of our institution within the Slovak scientific community. We are proud to see his contributions acknowledged not only by colleagues in the field but also by national scientific authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n

A second notable accomplishment is the conferment of the Scientific Qualification Degree IIa (VKS IIa)<\/strong> by the Commission for the Assessment of Scientific Qualifications of the Slovak Academy of Sciences<\/strong>. This scientific qualification represents a prestigious professional recognition of a researcher\u2019s scientific competence and is awarded following a comprehensive evaluation of scientific achievements, publication record, professional contributions, and overall standing within the scientific community. The award of the VKS IIa degree confirms that RNDr. Michal Nemergut\u2019s research meets the high standards and rigorous criteria established by the expert commission of the Slovak Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
