CTT has been established and fulfills university-wide tasks in the framework of technology transfer and intellectual property protection at UPJ\u0160. The CTT &nbsp;contributes to the development of the university mainly by supporting the commercialization of part of academic research. commercialization, popularizing innovative strategies in science, research and education, and providing advice on intellectual property protection. The long-term goal of &nbsp;CTT &nbsp;is to coordinate activities leading to commercialization of intellectual property and know-how arising at UPJ\u0160 in Ko\u0161ice. CTT &nbsp;ensures this goal in close cooperation with intellectual property creators working at individual faculties and other workplaces of UPJ\u0160, as well as in cooperation with SAFTRA s. r. o., which is a commercial entity fully owned by the University Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MAIN TASKS OF THE CENTER FOR TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provision of assistance and consultation in the field of intellectual property protection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Examination of options for managing UPJ\u0160 intellectual property and support for the transfer of UPJ\u0160 knowledge, technologies and intellectual property into practice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assistance and legal support for creators in the field of contractual relations and intellectual property protection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assistance and support in finding suitable external partners for research activities with the potential to transfer research results into practice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consulting and advice on the creation of spin-off and start-up companies. Both of these publications can help researchers working at the University of P.
