Ltd.<\/strong>, based in Chennai, India. The company specializes in the application of nanotechnology in biomedicine, particularly in the isolation of DNA, RNA, and plasmids using magnetic nanoparticles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was initiated by Assoc. Prof. Pavol Kop\u010dansk\u00fd, DrSc., from the Institute of Experimental Physics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, a long-standing scientific partner of Prof. Ramchand. He was accompanied by RNDr. Milan Timko, DrSc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the visit, Prof. Ramchand met with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Prof. Erik Sedl\u00e1k, DrSc.<\/strong>, Head of the\u00a0<strong>Centre for Interdisciplinary Biosciences (CIB)<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>RNDr. Andrej Miro\u0161\u0161ay, PhD.<\/strong>, Director of the Technology and Innovation Park of Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University (TIP UPJ\u0160),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and other research staff from CIB.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Ramchand presented the core research and development areas of MagGenome, focusing on their unique technologies based on magnetic nanoparticles designed for efficient nucleic acid extraction and their potential applications in clinical, research, and industrial settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The discussion focused on the intersections between the research conducted at the&nbsp;<strong>Centre for Interdisciplinary Biosciences<\/strong>, the project portfolio of&nbsp;<strong>TIP UPJ\u0160<\/strong>, and the strategic interests of MagGenome. Special attention was given to&nbsp;<strong>international collaboration opportunities<\/strong>, the potential involvement of the company in the&nbsp;<strong>APBC consortium<\/strong>, and avenues for&nbsp;<strong>commercialization of joint research outcomes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was held in a very friendly and constructive atmosphere.
