Martin Humenik<\/strong> (Department of Biomaterials) presented the promising <strong>APBC project<\/strong> to a professional audience. In addition to many colleagues from the faculty, the presentation was mainly aimed at the representatives of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy who supported the event as part of a strong Bavarian research ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The APBC project, funded by the EU Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Slovak Republic, attracted great interest. <br><strong>Doc. Humenik explained the main pillars of the project<\/strong> on this occasion:<br>\u2022<strong>International consortium<\/strong>: Networking in the field of protein biotechnology to support sustainable economic development.<br>\u2022 <strong>Structural impulses for Eastern Slovakia<\/strong>: Targeted strengthening of regional innovation power and creation of highly qualified jobs.<br>\u2022 <strong>Preventing brain drain<\/strong>: strategies to retain talent in the region through top international research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The presentation highlighted the importance of open exchange between science, economy and politics<\/strong>.
