The documents are lent\u00a0as out of library loans\u00a0or can be study\u00a0in the library premises only.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Loan\u00a0services are provided for\u00a0registrated user with valid user\u00b4s ID card.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For registration purposes\u00a0it\u00a0 is needed to bring:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ID card<\/li>\n<li>ISIC, ITIC &#8211;\u00a0 in the case of students and employees of Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice<\/li>\n<li>Pay a\u00a0registration fee (\u00a0according actual\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/app\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2025\/05\/KP-2025-AnnexNo3-eng-web-PriceList-Upravene.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fees and Services Price List<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>, UPJ\u0160 students pay a registration fee via AiS2 when enrolling at the university)<\/li>\n<li>Sign an application card, where user confirms and proclaims to respect\u00a0 <strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/app\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2025\/01\/KP-2021-AnnexNo1-eng-web.pdf\">Library Regulations<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Occasional visitors<\/strong>\u00a0can use\u00a0<strong>short term ( 1 day ) registration\u00a0(2\u20ac)<\/strong>, which allowed them to use in particular day some kind of services ( only in the library premises, reprographic\u00a0 services, acces to internet ).<\/p>\n<p>You can <strong>search\u00a0 for documents<\/strong> to borrow\u00a0thruough\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/pracoviska\/univerzitna-kniznica\/en\/catalogues\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>electronic catalogues<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>of the University Library.<\/p>\n<p>In the case You can not find searched\u00a0document\u00a0in the fund of the University Library and You think it should be in, You can give suggestion for its purchase through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/pracoviska\/univerzitna-kniznica\/e-ziadanky\/navrh\/\">electronic\u00a0order form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/public\/media\/25355\/CategoryOfUsers-2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>\u00a0Loan\u00a0period of particular items<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>User may\u00a0<strong>request for renewing loan\u00a0period<\/strong>\u00a0before its expiration\u00a0only\u00a0<strong>once<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0\u00a0<strong>in several ways<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>personaly in library<\/li>\n<li>by email, telephone<\/li>\n<li>through catalogue ( <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/departments\/university-library\/catalogues\/25362\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click on Login<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If the user does not return\u00a0 borrowed document on time, University Library applies to him<a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/app\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2025\/05\/Fees_2025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong> sanction fees <\/strong><\/a>according to\u00a0the Price List, which increase with numbers of the days after expiration of the loan period.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conditions of accesing of the library fund amends<\/strong> <strong>valid\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/pracoviska\/univerzitna-kniznica\/en\/library-regulations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Library Regulations<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When the University Library is closed,<\/strong> you can <strong>return books to the bibliobox\/bookbox<\/strong> located in front of the offices of <strong>the Medical Library (Trieda SNP 1), the Law Library (Kov\u00e1\u010dska 26), the Library od Arts (Moyzesova 9) and the FVS Library (Popradsk\u00e1 66).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/pracoviska\/univerzitna-kniznica\/en\/gdpr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Protection of personal data for users of\u00a0the University Library in Ko\u0161ice.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Library services are available during\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/pracoviska\/univerzitna-kniznica\/en\/open-hours\/\">opening hour<\/a>:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 500px;\" border=\"1\" cellspacing=\"1\" cellpadding=\"1\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Workplaces\u00a0<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Telephone<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Medical Library<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Tr.
