The organization of scientific conferences by the Department is one of its activities that undoubtedly contributes to the professionalisation of the Department and promotion of its status and recognition not only in the academic environment but in the whole professional community. It is worth mentioning that these conferences are consistently and regularly attended by renowned experts from the academic community (professors, associate professors from the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic, and also from Hungary, Poland, Slovenia), and specialists from legal practice \u2013 representatives of the judiciary, Prosecutor’s offices, expert institutes, law offices, Prison and Guard Service of the Slovak Republic, Police forces of the SR, or other institutions concerned. It is a great honour for the Department that the name of the conference KO\u0160ICE DAYS OF CRIMINAL LAW, with the forthcoming seventh conference in June 2023, has become a synonym of high-quality organization of international scientific conferences and has created a forum for the exchange of opinions on current issues resonating across the professional community. The first conference KO\u0160ICE DAYS OF CRIMINAL LAW was convened in 2017 and continued the long tradition of international conference organization of the past as stated below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Department maintains and enhances cooperation not only with the departments of its kind in the Slovak Republic but also with the academic staff and officials of all departments of criminal law at various faculties of law in the Czech Republic. In this regard, it is important to underline the cooperation with Prof. Dr. Nagy Anita (university professor) from the Faculty of Law of the University of Miskolc in Hungary, who as a co-worker directly participated in the project APVV-16-0362 \u201dPrivatization of Criminal Law \u2013 substantive, procedural, organizational-technical and criminological aspects\u201d during the 2017-2021 period.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":24,"featured_media":0,"parent":49046,"menu_order":2,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_editorskit_title_hidden":false,"_editorskit_reading_time":0,"_editorskit_is_block_options_detached":false,"_editorskit_block_options_position":"{}"},"categories":[],"tags":[],"tax_aktuality":[],"class_list":["post-49071","cpt_pracoviska","type-cpt_pracoviska","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"acf_link_na_externy_obsah":""},"yoast_head":"\n
