Astrophysics – PhD study programme

The graduates of PhD program  Astrophysics are able to use methods of theoretical and computer physics and mathematical apparatus to solve complex astrophysical problems. They will acquire theoretical knowledge about current trends of  astrophysical research, as well as practical skills in astronomical observations and processing of observed data. They will deepen their knowledge of various mathematical methods and programming skills and will be able to create computer models for solving astrophysical problems.  They will learn the principles of scientific work, methods of scientific research and development and formulation of scientific problems. The graduates are able to creatively apply acquired knowledge and skills in scientific practice and further develop scientific discipline.
