Biology – Master study programme – Botany and Plant Physiology

Graduate of Master study programme Botany and Plant Physiology will obtain widespread foundation of theoretical knowledge in Plant Biology. He or she will also receive training in research methodology (developing of experimental design in the field and in laboratory settings, field work, biotechnology, analytical methods – karyotyping, chemical analysis of plants, enzymology and others). Graduate will experience research result presentation at the scientific meetings and in the publications. He or she will be able to continue education at the PhD level in the field of Botany, Plant Physiology and similar fields. He or she can be employed in the laboratories at the universities, research institutes, agricultural companies or environmental protection agencies.
