Genetics – Graduate characteristic

Graduate of Ph.D. study programme Genetics will master wide range of scientific methods applied in the field of Experimental Genetics. He or she will apply them in different genetic model settings (microorganisms, plants, animals), and obtained knowledge will be used in human genetic problem solving. In problem solving, graduate will use the most advanced knowledge in genetics and molecular biology. Gained scientific expertise will enhance progress in science, and also will be applied in human and veterinary medicine, agriculture and forestry, pharmacology and biotechnology. Expertise will be also used in protection of genomics funds in plants, animals and humans.
