Graduates of Ph.D. study programme Biochemistry are capable of independent and creative scientific work. They are experienced in methodologies used in chemistry, biology and biomedicine research to study the basic processes in live organisms under physiological and pathophysiological conditions. Graduates can apply their knowledge and experience in widespread job opportunities in biochemistry and biomedicine research, clinical applications, laboratories of food, pharmaceutical (drug development and testing), agricultural and veterinary industries.
