Organic Chemistry – Graduate characteristic

Graduates of Master study programme Organic Chemistry are knowledgeable and experienced in methodologies used in organic chemistry research and can apply their skills in the research and industrial laboratories, and in application processes. Graduates are experienced in information and communication technologies, and in English scientific literature. They can assist at the chemistry education at the higher education level. Graduates knowledge and experience enable them to work independently or as a part of the research team and work out tasks and solutions in organic chemistry or in the pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry. International and interdisciplinary character of the organic chemistry field ensures for graduates widespread job possibilities at the research and higher education institutions at home and abroad, or in the private sector. Graduates can also continue their education in the Ph.D. programme of Organic Chemistry.
