The patronage of this year\u2019s poll was taken over by the President of the Slovak Republic Andrej Kiska. The cadidates for the title of Slovakia\u2019s Woman of the Year 2019 have been selected by the nomination committee. Among many candidates in the Science and Research category, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/public\/media\/20090\/renata_orinakova_PS.pdf\"><span style=\"color:#008000\">Professor Ren\u00e1ta Ori\u0148\u00e1kov\u00e1<\/span><\/a><\/em> from the Institute of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, P.J.\u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice has been selected as one of the three nominees.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulatios!<\/p>\n<p><u>The nominees were selected by the nomination committee consisting of:<\/u><\/p>\n<p><em>Ing. Vladim\u00edr Gre\u017eo, Director of Centre for Culture and Information in Bratislava<br \/>\nJUDr. Monika Jankovsk\u00e1, State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic<br \/>\nMUDr. Miroslav Mikol\u00e1\u0161ik, MEP<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The decision of the committee was based on<strong><span style=\"color:#008000\"> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/public\/media\/20090\/renata_orinakova_VV.pdf\"><span style=\"color:#008000\">Professor Ori\u0148\u00e1kov\u00e1\u2019s<\/span><\/a> <\/strong>outstanding career results and achievements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the first 10 years Slovakia\u2019s Woman of the Year poll consisted of eight categories.
