At this traditional gathering, selected Slovak schools cooperating with the institute\u2019s Department of Chemistry Didactics received experimental chemistry teaching aids. RNDr. M\u00e1ria Ganajov\u00e1, CSc.<\/a>, and the University of Vienna, represented by Dr Ralf Becker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The VC\u00d6 competition is the leading chemistry teaching competition within the Austrian school system. The teaching aids were handed over in the presence of Deputy Director RNDr. Milan Ko\u0161\u010d, PhD., MBA, LL.D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><strong>\u201cThe Planet\u2019s Mirror \u2013 Water Quality and Recycling as Key Factors for a Sustainable Future\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 supervised by Mgr. Miroslava T\u00f3thov\u00e1 and Mgr. Dalma Cs\u00f3k\u00e1si (Grammar School in Kr\u00e1\u013eovsk\u00fd Chlmec).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><strong>\u201cPhysical and Chemical Properties of Selected Springs in the High Tatras\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 supervised by Mgr. Tom\u00e1\u0161 Majer\u010d\u00e1k (Grammar School at Kuku\u010d\u00ednova 1, Poprad). The teaching aids were handed over in the presence of Director Ing. These project topics provided an opportunity to explore questions related to the future of humanity in an interdisciplinary manner. Students should gain an understanding of ongoing research in chemistry while also contributing to solutions for future global challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Moreover, the event was attended not only by teachers and students from the selected schools but also by first-year master\u2019s degree students in chemistry (combined) \u2013 the future chemistry teachers. As the primary goal of this competition is to promote experimental chemistry teaching through student-led experiments, Dr Ralf Becker from the University of Vienna presented a variety of state-of-the-art teaching aids and ceremoniously handed them over to the schools to support their project work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Thanks to this collaboration, schools have the opportunity to international events for chemistry teachers in Austria. This year, the 17th Europ\u00e4ischer Chemielehrer*innenkongress (Chemie@Zukunft \u2013 Aus dem Reagenzglas in die Zukunft) will take place in Graz from 23 to 26 April. This congress is valuable not only for the theoretical knowledge shared in chemistry teaching but also for its role in enhancing students\u2019 experimental work, making it more accessible and
