(hereinafter referred to only\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>as\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>“TR”)<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

TR<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>is<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>ESSENTIALL, it is done by the Office of Foreign Police of the SR.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>Without it,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>the day after your VISA expires,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>you will have to leave the country, if not, you will be made to leave by the police<\/span><\/span>, given a fine and MAY be subject to<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>becoming<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>a PERSONA NO<\/span><\/span>N<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>GRATA in the Schengen Area.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

You\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>are advised<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>to apply for TR ASAP<\/span><\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>after your arrival, so have all your documents ready with you.\u202f\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>PLEASE BE ADVISED, while your TR application is under consideration by the police (2 months), you are not allowed to travel outside of Slovakia, except to your country of origin (but to return, during this time, you will need a valid multiple entry VISA)!<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Once your temporary residence has been granted you will have to\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>undergo a medical check-up in the field of infectious diseases<\/span><\/strong>, so as to determine that you do not suffer from any.\u202f<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Check the 2<\/span><\/span>nd<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Link at the bottom, where you will find the address\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>of all certified medical institutions<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Have a colleague from Slovakia call every one, ask for possible appointments (be aware, at the beginning\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>o<\/span><\/span>f the<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>school year and the end of it, it may be difficult to get one<\/span><\/span>), and for prices (they differ, Kosice is the highest in the Eastern region)<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>LINK<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

BASIC PRINCIPLES:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

1.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Every<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>document, which you have to submit\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>MUST<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>be in\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Slovak language<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(if the original is not, it\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>MUST BE TRANSLATED<\/span><\/strong>)<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

2.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>NO<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>document<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>may be older than 90 days!!!<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(older means DATE of ISSUE on document + 90 days)\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>This does not apply to DIPLOMA and MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

3. Every DOCUMENT\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>you submit, the police will\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>NOT GIVE BACK<\/span><\/strong>. So unless you wish to lose your DIPLOMA, make a NOTARY CERTIFIED COPY (in the SR it costs\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>~2 Euros x Page<\/span><\/strong>), same goes for MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE, and other documents, which you have only one of, and might need it in the future.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Official Translations are STITCHED together with the document provided in the foreign language (may it be original or notary copy), so keep that in mind (unless you want to lose it there)<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

4. EVERY DOCUMENT which you provide FROM A FOREIGN country MUST be APPOSTILISED.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>There are two different types of higher authorisation\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>Appostilisation<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(based on an international convention) or\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>Superlegalisation<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(higher authorisation). It is your responsibility,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>wehter<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>your home country, and every country you visited, has signed the Convention on\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>Superlegalisation<\/span><\/strong>. If not, then you will need the other one. Read about it on the net, they are different things. Ask your embassy, which one you need, we don\u2019t know every countries, we ask as well,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>every<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>time.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

YOU will have to FILL out EVERY COLUMN\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>(which is relevant to YOU).<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>YOU HAVE to be TRUTHFULL, THE POLICE CHECK the information. A.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>VALID PASSPORT<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(valid for the entire duration of your stay + 6 months after your stay),<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

B.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Excerpt from your Criminal record<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>(in some countries called a Security Background Check), that you have not been sentenced for crimes<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>from your\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>HOME<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>country (by home country, we mean every country you have a citizenship or legal affiliation comparable to citizenship)\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>and<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>EVERY<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>country you have\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>spent more than 90 days<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>in a 180 day period in the\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>last 3 years<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>In case of\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Ukraine<\/span><\/strong>, you need a\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>NOTARY<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>certified\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>STATEMENT<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>stating that you have\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>not taken part in any terrorist activity in the LNR and DNR,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>Krym<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

C. Proof of sufficient\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>FINANCIAL MEANS<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>(sufficient\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>=<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>minimum 240 EUROS \/ MONTH)<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

3.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>in<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>case of\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>STUDENTS<\/span><\/strong>, you have to provide a Bank Statement<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(SWIT system bank, with Euro currency)<\/span><\/span>, showing that you have at least\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>2400 Euros<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>on it,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

D.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Travel Medical Insurance<\/span><\/strong>:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
