{"id":43575,"date":"2018-09-12T16:21:13","date_gmt":"2018-09-12T16:21:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/prirodovedecka-fakulta\/tr\/"},"modified":"2022-11-10T20:24:35","modified_gmt":"2022-11-10T20:24:35","slug":"tr","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.upjs.sk\/prirodovedecka-fakulta\/en\/foreign-students\/i-i-p\/s\/tr\/","title":{"rendered":"More Than 90 Calendar Days &#8211; TR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Office of foreign police of the Slovak Republic<\/strong>:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once you enter the country, may it be through a VISA, or without one, may it be from another EU country, or from anywhere else in the world, you will need to go to the foreign police, ASAP.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <span style=\"color:#FF0000\"><strong>GENERAL RULE<\/strong><\/span> <strong>for going to the police is<\/strong>, <span style=\"color:#FF0000\"><strong>AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, WHEN<\/strong><\/span> <strong>you<\/strong> <span style=\"color:#FF0000\"><strong>THINK<\/strong><\/span> <strong>you have<\/strong> <span style=\"color:#FF0000\"><strong>EVERYTHING<\/strong><\/span> <strong>you are required to provide<\/strong>. Even if you think you have it all covered, you may be unpleasantly surprised at your first visit. There is a great many documents and information, which you must provide. <strong>Mistakes can be made<\/strong>, things may be forgotten. Add to it the fact, that at the <strong>BEGINNING<\/strong> and <strong>END<\/strong> of each <strong>ACCADEMIC<\/strong> year (Sept., June), there will be <strong>hundreds of other people waiting in line before you<\/strong>. The office of foreign police must process all these people, there are only 2 people working study and scholarship, and 1 person working employment, family members and 2 people working EU citizens. Add to it the fact, that the police only operate 3 days a week: <span style=\"color:#FF0000\"><strong>Monday (8AM-3PM), Wednesday (8AM-5PM), Friday (8AM-12PM)<\/strong><\/span>, you start to get the picture. <span style=\"color:#FF0000\"><strong>The police are the ONLY legal entity, which decides, whether you get a TR or not<\/strong><\/span>, consequently, they decide whether you will be with us for the entire duration of your stay or will have to leave home early!! <strong>Therefore, it is <span style=\"color:#FF0000\">STRONGLY RECOMMENDED<\/span>, that you do not delay your visit to this institution<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#FF0000\">WARNING<\/span>, if you were required to do something, or required to inform the police in a certain time <span style=\"color:#FF0000\">AFTER YOUR ARRIVAL <\/span>or <span style=\"color:#FF0000\">DURING YOUR STAY, AND YOU DON\u2019T DO THIS<\/span>, you <span style=\"color:#FF0000\">ARE GOING TO receive a fine of a minimum of 165 Euros!! <\/span>Depending on the transgression, you may be fined<span style=\"color:#FF0000\"> up to 1600 Euros, and eve<\/span>n be <span style=\"color:#FF0000\">deported<\/span> from the country, at <span style=\"color:#FF0000\">your own expense<\/span>!!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The following strategy is advised:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Put together all the documents, you know you are required to produce.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Check the dates of issue on ALL the documents, DON\u2019T FORGET, NO document may be older than 90 days!! This is a big NO NO with the police! <span style=\"color:#FF0000\">Exceptions from this rule ONLY: DIPLOMA, MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE, BIRTH ERTIFICATE<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>If your documents are from your home, or other foreign country, <span style=\"color:#FF0000\">CHECK if you have APPOSTILE or Superlegalisation on ALL OF THEM!!!\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>If your documents are in a foreign language, <span style=\"color:#FF0000\">CHECK if they have all been translated, if there is the official translators stamp on the documents, IF ALL THE DATES HAVE BEEN TRANSLATED CORRECTLY!!!<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#FF0000\"> <\/span>(you may not understand the last, let me give an example from life: one of our researchers was <strong>DEPORTED, because the translator made a small error<\/strong>, changed a 0 to a 1 in the <strong>DATE OF ISSUE<\/strong>)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color:#FF0000\"><strong>FILL OUT THE TR APPLICATION FORM, AS BEST AS YOU CAN<\/strong><\/span>, using the following GUIDE.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You will find which documents you need, in the SECTION TR, below.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Once you have all this done, go to the police. The address is:<\/strong> Oddelenie cudzineckej pol\u00edcie PZ Ko\u0161ice, <strong>Trieda SNP 35, Ko\u0161ice 040 01, GPS:<\/strong> N 48.71505371 E 21.235499534. Be there<strong> NO LATER<\/strong> than <strong>7:30 AM<\/strong> (if you want to be sure), that is when they open the doors to the building. You will find a small gallery at the bottom of the page, detailing where to go, what to do. FIRST THING IS TO GET A NUMBER, from the TICKET TERMINAL on the UPPER FLOOR (view gallery for more info). After that, you need to find the correct door (view gallery for more info), and wait (if you are a religious person, praying is also an option).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color:#FF0000\"><strong>If your first visit is unsuccessful, DON\u2019T WORRY!
