Kombin\u00e1ciou met\u00f3d skenovacieho elektr\u00f3nov\u00e9ho mikroskopu a r\u00f6ntgenovej mikrotomografie sa detailne zdokumentoval povrch z\u0155n miner\u00e1lu gran\u00e1t a poz\u00edcia inkl\u00fazi\u00ed vo vn\u00fatri z\u0155n. Tieto zobrazovacie met\u00f3dy umo\u017enili tvorbu 3D modelov povrchu z\u0155n a\u00a0jeho anal\u00fdzu. 3D anal\u00fdza povrchu je aplikovate\u013en\u00e1 v\u00a0r\u00f4znych prostrediach a\u00a0tradi\u010dne rie\u0161en\u00e1 v\u00fdskumn\u00edkmi n\u00e1\u0161ho \u00fastavu [2]. Publikovan\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky poukazuj\u00fa na zmeny, ktor\u00e9 nast\u00e1vaj\u00fa po\u010das transportu miner\u00e1lnych z\u0155n v rie\u010dnom prostred\u00ed. Tieto v\u00fdsledky maj\u00fa v\u00fdznam nielen pre pochopenie s\u00fa\u010dasn\u00fdch procesov v riekach, ale aj pre sk\u00famanie geologickej minulosti \u2013 pom\u00e1haj\u00fa rekon\u0161truova\u0165 prostredie, ak\u00e9 existovalo pred mili\u00f3nmi rokov.
