Information for disabled visitors

1minút, 13sekúnd

The botanical garden premises (outdoor area and greenhouses) are barrier-free with minimal restrictions. In some places there are stairs that can be bypassed using a detour route.

  1. The entrance to the visitor centre and café from the street is fully wheelchair accessible. There is a toilet for the disabled and a reception in the visitor centre. There is 1 reserved parking space available.
  1.  Access to the building and lobby is provided by a barrier-free ramp. Several staircases lead to other parts of the building.
  1.  There are 2 stairs in front of the entrance to the greenhouse. It is possible to bypass them through the garden around the greenhouses (blue line on the map around the greenhouses). This option is the easiest and most convenient.

If necessary, you can request the installation of a temporary mobile ramp to the stairs in front of the greenhouse at the reception.
The walkways in the greenhouses are quite narrow and may therefore restrict movement depending on the size of the wheelchair or stroller.
  1.  The entrance to the arboretum and further towards the mini zoo is via a long staircase. It is possible to bypass it by taking a gently sloping path to the mini zoo.
  1.  The stairs leading to the lower part of the outdoor area to the ponds can be bypassed by taking the sidewalk (to the right of the stairs) leading under the pergola.
