WE INVITE YOU TO THE BEEKEEPING EXHIBITION, which will take place from 16 to 28 October 2026, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, under the patronage of Jaroslav Polaček, Mayor of Košice.
The exhibition will also offer advisory services and consultations, presentations by producers and sellers, and sales of honey and bee products, including honey tasting.
The exhibition will include a creative workshop including working with beeswax throughout its duration.
NEW! An audio tunnel—an immersive installation consisting of six large-format panels—will be featured for the first time during the exhibition. Visitors step between the panels and find themselves at the heart of a story about the life of bees, how they communicate, and their importance to both nature and mankind. However, the tunnel isn’t just for looking at. The sound of the bee colony comes from both sides, and its vibrations can also be felt. When you place your hand on the panel, you don’t just hear the buzzing – you can feel it too.
The weekend of 16 to 18 October 2026 will be interesting for the general public, when several beekeeping equipment manufacturers and product sellers will be presenting their wares, there will be a workshop on baking and decorating gingerbread cookies, and lectures will be prepared for beekeepers and the general public:
