We invite you to a sound performance titled Collective Imagination, guided by our former resident Tomáš Roček in the intriguing spaces of the large greenhouse at the Botanical Garden of UPJŠ in Košice.
The performance connects a live-manipulated soundscape, original text, and vocal guidance of the audience throughout the imagined space. It draws on materials created during his residency in Košice and explores both personal and collective transformation. The Botanical Garden serves as both a symbolic and physical space of transition – from safety into the unknown, from dimness into the wild.
The sound performance deepens sensory perception, blending with the surrounding sounds. After the performance, there is traditionally a sharing of what participants imagined, whom they met, and what they experienced. It is a collective experience of different stories. Each participant encounters what they bring with them.

Duration: 45–60 minutes
Location: UPJŠ Botanical Garden, Mánesova 23
Admission: 3 euros (please inform the ticket office at entry that you are attending the performance)
The performance will be conducted in Slovak and Czech.
