On November 3, an inspiring lecture entitled “Multi-Omics Data Integration: AI and Integrative Computational Biology” was held in Bratislava, led by one of the world’s leading experts in the field of computational biology, data science and artificial intelligence in medicine – Prof. Igor Jurišica, PhD, Dr.Sc.
In his pioneering research, Prof. Jurišica, PhD., DrSc. combines large-scale data analysis, visualization and modeling to reveal new knowledge about disease mechanisms and the body’s responses to treatment. He is among the Top 100 world leaders in the field of artificial intelligence in healthcare and is also listed among the Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researchers – the most cited scientists in the world. His scientific works have been published in the most prestigious journals, such as Science, Nature and Nature Medicine.
The lecture was organized as a training activity supported by the APBC project (the project No. 09I02-03-V01-00021).
