Technology and Innovation Park (TIP-UPJŠ) will present its stand at the largest business festival in Slovakia, Forbes BUSINESS FEST Košice. This event is being held in its original winter version for the first time in Košice and we are very pleased that TIP-UPJŠ will also be a part of it. This festival with an international concept combines business and a festival atmosphere and connects experts from several areas in business.
TIP-UPJŠ will present support for innovation, technology transfer, startup development and connecting science parks with the private sector. Participants can talk about these topics with the director of TIP-UPJŠ RNDr. Andrej Mirossay, PhD.
TIP-UPJŠ will also present its significant projects – the Antarctica project – a 2-month scientific expedition to Antarctica and its preparation under the leadership of doc. RNDr. Michal Goga. PhD, which will study mosses and lichens while testing various products of partners from private companies directly in Antarctica; and the international research project APBC in the field of protein biotechnology – which connects leading academic partners with the private sector to address key economic and social challenges of Slovakia, such as the persistent brain drain, especially in the region of Eastern Slovakia. The event participants can talk about the APBC project with the head of the Center for Interdisciplinary Biosciences and the main coordinator of the project – Prof. RNDr. Erik Sedlák, DrSc.
Forbes BUSINESS FEST Košice will be packed with more than 50 speakers on 3 stages from various business areas and more than 600+ participants and many inspiring people who can establish relationships with each other in an informal festival atmosphere.
