2025 was a year of meetings, decisions, and trust for me. It was a year of intensive conversations with scientists, discussions with partners, searching for solutions and steps that do not arise overnight, but from understanding, continuous work, and responsibility. This is exactly the everyday reality at the Technology and Innovation Park UPJŠ (TIP-UPJŠ).
Our work is based on connecting research with practice, creating space for dialogue, and supporting solutions that have a real social and technological impact. 2025 also confirmed that real progress is created where expertise meets trust and a willingness to take responsibility.
Key moments of 2025
Among the most significant events and activities of the past year were:
• 72nd Czech-Slovak Pharmacological Days, which once again confirmed the strength of regional scientific cooperation
• APBC project – Advanced Protein Biotechnology Consortium, focused on the development of advanced biotechnologies
• Grade UP discussions with young scientists, which create space for open dialogue and new perspectives
• SlovakiaTech, as a platform for innovation and technological development
• Forbes Fest Business Slovakia and Business Fest Košice, connecting the academic environment with business
• Dozens of TIP-UPJŠ project and technology meetings, often less visible, but crucial for long-term results
• Active support of Assoc. Prof. RNDr. Michal Goga, PhD. in preparation for his expedition to Antarctica in January 2026, as an example of supporting exceptional initiatives
Alongside these activities, numerous other meetings took place at home and abroad in cooperation with Business Košice – meetings that, although not always publicly visible, played a crucial role in shaping partnerships and strategic decisions.
