This week was in the spirit of events that connect science, innovation and people.
Our international lecturers, researchers, and PhD students were also present at the exceptional Brew and View evening organized by Business Košice.
The invitation, extended through the Euraxess Welcome Office and represented by PhDr. Zuzana Szattlerová, was accepted by several international colleagues and doctoral candidates from various university departments. Throughout the rich program, participants engaged in discussions about opportunities for professional development and ways to get involved in activities offered both within the university and beyond.
TIP-UPJŠ was represented by scientists from the Center for Interdisciplinary Biosciences (CIB) – Andersen Herman from Salisbury University (USA), who works at the Center for Interdisciplinary Biosciences within the Fulbright program under the leadership of Prof. Erik Sedlák and Dr. Veronika Huntošová, as well as postdoctoral fellow Nikitas Georgiou, a member of the research team of the APBC project – Advanced Protein Biotechnology Consortium.
Brew and View brought together a diverse international community living and working in Košice. The evening was spent in a relaxed atmosphere full of inspiring conversations, new contacts and positive energy.
🔹 The highlight of the evening was the ceremonial launch of the first issue of The Porter magazine – created “with foreigners and for foreigners” in Košice.
🔹 The entire evening was completed by magical city lights, delicious food and drinks.
Thank you to Business Košice, who organized such a great event.
