1minút, 7sekúnd

The UPJŠ Technology and Innovation Park (TIP UPJŠ) is actively involved in the national project “Supporting the entrepreneurial and innovative potential of students”, which is implemented by the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic under the auspices of the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini. The aim of the project is to strengthen entrepreneurship, innovative thinking and connecting students with practice outside of traditional education.

We invite you to the GradeUP conference, which will take place on November 13, 2025 in Košice. The Director of TIP-UPJŠ RNDr. Andrej Miroššay, PhD. will present in the panel discussion “Where innovations are born – university science parks as a starting point for entrepreneurship”.

The discussion will further focus on:

• the role of TIP UPJŠ in connecting research, companies and startups,
• specific examples of university spin-offs and emerging companies at UPJŠ,
• creating an environment in which student ideas turn into businesses.

TIP UPJŠ will also be presented in the form of an information stand during the Night of Entrepreneurship at UVP Technicom, where you can learn more about our activities and cooperation opportunities.

The university is not just a space for research – it is a place where ideas become solutions – and also the first business projects.

Event location: UVP Technicom, TUKE

Program:
Conference program:   12.00-16.20, Aula Maxima, TUKE
