AI in Science at UPJŠ: Responsible Practice from Research to Publication

1minút, 42sekúnd

The TIP-UPJŠ Centre for Interdisciplinary Biosciences invites researchers, academic staff, and doctoral students to a two-day workshop dedicated to the practical and responsible use of artificial intelligence in research, scientific writing, and education.

The workshop will be led by Dr. Richard Luke Daniels from The College of Idaho (USA), an expert in the biological sciences, research ethics, and biosafety. He is visiting UPJŠ under the Fulbright Specialist Program.

Participants will explore how AI can be utilized for literature searches, research planning, project preparation, data handling, and the drafting of scientific texts. The program will also address issues of academic integrity, the policies of scientific journals and funding agencies, and the transparent disclosure of AI usage. Emphasis will be placed on output verification, critical thinking, and authorial responsibility.
