The scientific team from VÚSCH – East Slovak Institute of Heart and Vascular Diseases, a.s. and Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, led by Peter Gál from the Center for Applied Medicine, TIP-UPJŠ and the team from the Faculty of Medicine, UPJŠ, received the Košice Mayor’s Award for extraordinary contribution to the scientific research field, building an international scientific platform and successful representation of Košice scientific institutions abroad.
