Psychological counselling

It is necessary to book a counselling session in advance. Please use the portal UNIPOC to book a session.

To enter the portal and book a session, use your AiS2 login and password.

If you would like to ask our counsellors a question regarding psychological, career, social or legal counselling, you may use our e-counselling. We also answer questions of students with special needs within e-counseling.
The portal is currently translated to English only partially. Please excuse the inconvenience, we are working on the improvement.


♦ Psychological counselling is focused on academic and personal problems of students. It is specifically concerned with the following learning issues:

  • Difficulty in concentrating when learning – learning optimization, stage fright and others;
  • Coping with the burden and crisis situations;
  • Problems in relationships (in the school group, the family, in a partnership, or in relationship to oneself).

The consultants shall also provide consultation and guidance on a variety of psychological difficulties:

  • Neurotic symptoms;
  • Insomnia;
  • Depression;
  • Problems with food intake;
  • Sexual issues;
  • Problems with the use of psychoactive substances.

Psychological consultations for students without previous booking are available on Thursday from 10 am to 12 am at the University Counselling Centre (Minerva building, Moyzesova 9) and are targeted at students with simple easy to formulate issues that required direct advice with no requirement of deeper inquiry for up to 15 mins. If you feel like your issue or problem might require deeper inquiry or it is something that you experience for a longer period of time, or if you in the past encountered any psychological or psychiatric treatment or consultations, it is recommended to book a regular appointment with your AiS2 login here:

Online counselling appointments are meant for students not currently present in Kosice, usually after first face-to-face counselling, and can be booked with your AiS2 login here:

All forms of on-site counselling are held in the University Counselling Centre in Minerva building, Faculty of Arts on Moyzesova street nr. 9.
All counselling services are free of charge for all students of UPJS.
