If you would like to ask our counsellors a question regarding psychological, career, social or legal counselling, you may use our e-counselling. We also answer questions of students with special needs within e-counseling.

Legal counselling is offered to students in the following areas:
Employment (creation of employment, employment contract essentials, probationary period, basic duty of employee and employer)
Agreements on work done outside employment
Remuneration of employees, wage claims
Right to employment (recruitment, retraining, unemployment benefits)
Conditions for providing unemployment benefits
Education and training
Protection of personality
Types of contracts - rights and obligations arising therefrom
Note: Legal counselling provided at a University Counselling Centre is a recommended practice for the student, and neither UNIPOC nor the counsellor is responsible for the final resolution of the problem. This is because it is not a legal aid of a lawyer, insured in his activity, and the management of a client (student) from the outset on the basis of a power of attorney. It is up to the student himself to choose how to solve his problem, while neither UNIPOC nor the counsellor have any influence on his free choice.
If you are interested in practical information from other areas of law, especially those who do not have to be a student at university, and that include civil law, business law, labour law, tax law, and construction law, you can turn to a student law portal Students for Students. Law students will answer your questions under the supervision of an experienced lawyer. The portal is provided by the Department of Legal Clinics at the Faculty of Law of UPJŠ in Košice.
