Colleagues from the UPJŠ Technology and Innovation Park, Ing. Zuzana Svoreňová and Ing. Michaela Kednrová participated in the prestigious Slovakia Innovation & Startup Awards 2026 (SISA), which is one of the most important innovation and startup events in Slovakia. The aim of the event is to recognize exceptional scientists, innovators, startups and entrepreneurs whose activities contribute to the development of innovation, technological progress and the business environment in Slovakia.
The event is organized by the Innovation Center of the Košice Region (ICKK) and is held under the auspices of VAIA – the Research and Innovation Authority and the Association of Regions SK8. SISA creates a space for connecting the academic, scientific-research and business environment, supports networking, exchange of experiences and visibility of innovative solutions with the potential for practical use.
The participation of representatives of the UPJŠ Technology and Innovation Park was an opportunity for networking, exchange of experiences and establishing new contacts with representatives of the academic, research and business environment. The event also created a space for discussion on supporting technology transfer, innovative solutions and connecting research with practice.
