Symposium on directed evolution of proteins

1minút, 4sekúnd

The symposium on directed evolution of proteins will take place within the European project CasProt, which was obtained by the scientific groups of the Center for Interdisciplinary Biosciences (CIB) TIP-UPJŠ and the Department of Biophysics (KBF) PF UPJŠ represented by Prof. Pavol Miškovský in a consortium with the teams of Prof. Andreas Plückthun from the University of Zurich and Prof. Matthias Rief from the Technical University of Munich in 2020.

This meeting provides a unique opportunity not only to present the results achieved by individual groups within the CasProt project, but also to meet with representatives of other scientific groups that cooperate with CIB and KBF within various grant schemes and/or based on long-term personal relationships. The symposium program offers a wide range of lectures in the field of design and controlled evolution of proteins and enzymes and the study of protein properties as well as their bio/applications. The program creates space for the presentation of results not only for experienced scientists, but also for doctoral students and scientists at the beginning of their careers. We believe that the lectures and subsequent discussions will be of scientific benefit to all participants of the Symposium and will create the basis for new prospective collaborations in the field of protein studies.
