On this symposium will be introducted adademic start-ups: VAST AUDIO Pty. Ltd., Carrot Neurotechology, and HoerTech Oldenburg. The symposium is open for interested academic and non-academic audience and is free of charge.
This workshop and lecture series will include introductory lectures and advanced research talks on a range of topics related to the neural processes of auditory, visual and cross-modal perception. The workshop is aimed at early-stage and advanced students and young researchers, and it will provide ample opportunities for direct interactions between the lecturers and the attendees.

SAFTRA photonics is a Slovak high-tech spin-off company established at the P. J. Šafárik University in Košice in 2014. It is the first spin-off company on the ground of the Faculty of Science P. J. Šafárik University in Košice. The development and the business strategies of the company are based on the research activities of the group led by Pavol Miškovský
The final selection of proposed projects for the Internal Research Grant System of Faculty of Science of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice (called VVGS PF UPJŠ) for the years 2014 and 2015 took place on 31 March 2014 at the Faculty of Science. Based on critical reviews the commission for VVGS PF UPJŠ decided to provide grant to 26 projects.
Slovakia, as one of the first European country, has signed the Euro-BioImaging Memorandum of Understanding. The core of the Slovak node is formed by the Centre of Interdisciplinary BioScience P.J. Šafárik University in Košice, Faculty of Science that is realsing project CELIM.
