EIT Food is an initiative set up by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) to support the European Union’s (EU) green economy in the field of healthy food and agriculture. It offers research and start-up programs accessible to 17 European countries to accelerate innovation in this segment.
EIT Food has introduced a new program called “Co-founder matching”, which aims to motivate researchers and business professionals to focus on the creation of start-ups. The initiative will also create a support scheme for business development in the form of an incubator or accelerator.
The program is designed for scientists with applications or technologies for the agri-food sector who want to use their innovative solutions commercially.
We invite researchers who are interested in participating in the “Co-founder matching” program to contact doc. JUDr. Renáta Bačárová PhD., LLM, Head of the Center for Technology Transfer at TIP-UPJŠ (renata.bacarova@upjs.sk). The program will be launched in spring 2021.
