We organize various events for students throughout the academic year, where they can develop their competences, establish contacts with employers, gain important information in the field of mental health, or find employment in the labor market. We start the winter semester with a workshop on effective learning, and in October we traditionally hold the World Mental Health Day, which is followed by various workshops and webinars on stress management and relaxation. November focuses on career topics. The summer semester is dominated by the Career Day, which takes place annually in April and is an ideal place to establish contacts with employers and get an internship or job. At the end of the summer semester, we organize the Graduate Starter-Pack event for all graduating students. Every year we also supplement the offer with other events in cooperation with employers and our partners.
Students can view the current offer of events on the UNIPOC website in the “events” section, on UNIPOC social networks or on the CCVaPP – Activities portal.
- Career day
For students, Career Day is an ideal place to make contacts with employers and get internships or jobs. It is a great opportunity for employers to meet quality students and future graduates of our university. Career Day is held annually in April and, as a rule, Rector’s leave is granted to students at the time of the event.
- CV check
During the semester, students have an opportunity to come and get advice on how to write an interesting CV or cover letter.
- Stress, coping strategies and mental resilience
Stress is necessary part of our lives. Sometimes it helps us to provide better performance or to deal with more difficult tasks. But there are situations too, where it doesn´t work in this way and that´s why it is important to recognize when the stress becomes problem, what are the emotional and physical symptoms and how we can react under stress. It´s important to identify the sources and triggers of stress. In the last part of the webinar, we will learn how to build mental resilience and how to be prepared for more demanding periods of our life. On Wednesday, December 3rd.
- World Mental Health Day
