0minút, 39sekúnd

Transfusion Evidence Library is an abstract database with links to full texts in freely available and licenced sources gathering information for the field of transfusion medicine.

It is created by the NHS Blood and Transplant’s Systematic Review Initiative (SRI) under the leadership of Professor Mike Murphy.

In one place you will find information by evidence-based medicine (EBM):

– systematic surveys and meta-analyzes (from 1980 to the present),

– randomized controlled trials (since 2002+),

– economic studies relevant to transfusiology (since 1990+).

The SRI adds to each record:

– clinical specialization: Blood Donors, Critical Care, Hematology and Oncology, Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgery,

– specialization: Blood Components, Clinical Practice, Donation Practice, Alternatives to Blood,

– PICO Summaries and SRI Keywords.

You can find the database at:

website of the UPJŠ University Library
