Mgr. Viktória Hičárová, PhD.
In 2002, she earned her Master degree in Psychology at the University of Trnava in Trnava. Later, she completed her education with a doctoral degree in Social Psychology at the Slovak Academy of Sciences. She worked in clinical and counseling practice with children, adolescents, adults and senior clients. She gained professional experience in various workplaces in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Canada, from where she returned to Slovakia. She works with clients who have anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, problematic family, friendship and partner relationships. She also leads a Relaxation Half-Hour and an MBSR (Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction) course. At the Faculty of Medicine, she teaches the course Foundations of Mindfulness to Slovak and international students, and at the Department of Psychology, she teaches the course Advanced Psychopathology. At UNIPOC, she provides individual psychological counseling for Slovak and international students.
