The members of the Department have been actively involved in many research projects especially since 2007, either as individuals in their own projects or as co-workers in other projects at Law faculties abroad or in the Czech Republic (assoc. prof. JUDr. Simona Ferenčíková, PhD.) or as a team at other departments of the Faculty of Law at UPJŠ in Košice (prof. JUDr. Sergej Romža, PhD., assoc. prof. JUDr. Simona Ferenčíková, PhD., JUDr. Veronika Tóthová, PhD., assoc. prof. JUDr. Martin Štrkolec, PhD.), or within Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice projects (JUDr. Peter Čopko, PhD., JUDr. Lukáš Michaľov, PhD.).
