Within the framework of international cooperation, the Department of History of State and Law maintains good relations and promotes cooperation with several legal history departments and institutions. Assoc. Prof. JUDr. Vladimír Vrana, PhD. has been a member of the Czech Church Law Society since 1994, he collaborates with other Departments of History of State and Law or Legal History, Departments of Roman Law and Canon Law at the Faculties of Law in Banská Bystrica, Trnava, Bratislava, Prague, Brno, Olomouc, Plzeň, Miskolc, Rzeszow, Lublin. Assoc. Prof. JUDr. Erik Štenpien, PhD. developed unique professional cooperation with the Department of Legal History and Jurisprudence of the Faculty of Law at the University in Miskolc in Hungary and with the management of the Faculty of Law at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, with the Faculty of Law at the University in Debrecen, and with the youngest Hungarian Faculty of Law at Károli Gáspar University of the Reformed Church in Hungary in Budapest. Assoc. Prof. JUDr. Miroslav Fico, PhD. actively cooperates with the members of the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno and with other legal history departments in the Czech Republic. The Department of History of State and Law is currently intensively cooperating with their Hungarian colleagues who are also involved in the research project of the Department APVV ‘100 years of the Treaty of Trianon’ and with the Faculty of Law in Rzeszów.
