
Between November 3–7, 2025, another working meeting took place as part of the AI2SEP project – Developing Talents in Artificial Intelligence to Solve Disruptive Environmental Problems. The event was hosted by the Institute of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice.
In addition to the standard project agenda – including implementation activities, development and testing of new educational courses, and evaluation of student project progress – the workshop program focused on opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and the presentation of the Košice innovation ecosystem.

Faculty colleagues showcased their research and educational activities, highlighting potential applications of data analysis and artificial intelligence:

Participants also gained insights and inspiration during visits to selected laboratories:

The Košice innovation ecosystem and its activities were presented by representatives of key organizations:

Another topic of discussion was collaboration with industry through joint laboratories:
The workshop also included a cultural and educational segment, during which Igor Kupec introduced participants to the history and present of Košice and the surrounding region.
