On November 14, 2025, the Department of Economics and Public Administration organized an interactive lecture titled “AI in Public Administration.” The lecture was led by PhDr. Milan Douša, PhD.

Students had the opportunity to learn how artificial intelligence is changing the functioning of cities, municipalities, and regions, while also gaining hands-on experience with model situations in the field of regional planning:

🔹 simulations of territorial development under various scenarios (transportation, climate, population density, energy intensity),
🔹 working with AI tools for predicting traffic flows, spatial analysis, and creating planning scenarios,
🔹 data analysis and its use in decision-making processes,
🔹 addressing the ethical challenges posed by the use of AI in public administration, ranging from algorithmic bias to privacy protection and the digital divide.

The lecture also featured the latest results of the VVGS project focused on modernizing local government through artificial intelligence tools, successfully led by PhDr. Milan Douša, PhD.

Thank you for your active participation and insightful discussions.
