On December 3, 2025, the Faculty of Public Administration at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice hosted the scientific symposium “Environmental Attitudes, Behavior, and Their Promotion,” which brought together experts from the fields of sociology, psychology, environmental sciences, and public administration.
The presented papers covered topics ranging from animal welfare, climate justice, consumer behavior, and hydrological processes in the landscape to generational differences in adaptation strategies and the connections between gender attitudes and climate responsibility.
The symposium was held as part of the VEGA project “Environmental Attitudes, Pro-Environmental Behavior, and Its Promotion,” led by Assoc. Prof. Iveta Jeleňová, PhD., and served as a platform for stimulating interdisciplinary discussion and the establishment of further collaboration.
We thank all the speakers and participants for their active participation and inspiring discussion.
