Microbiologists from the Department of Microbiology have discovered unique bacteria
Scientists from the Department of Microbiology, Institute of Biology and Ecology at the Faculty of Science, UPJŠ in Košice, have discovered two new species of bacteria. These microorganisms provide insight into the evolution of bacteria in isolated environments. Their discoveries have potential for biotechnological and environmental applications.
