On January 18, 2024 took place the defense of the dissertation of the student from Indonesia MSc. Limpat Nulandaya in the study programme Progressive Materials. The faculty and its Department of Physical Sciences were honored by the participation of the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia - H.E. Dr. Pribadi Sution at the defense.

On Tuesday, 12 December 2023, the President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel officially handed over the appointment decrees to the new professors in the Grand Auditorium of the Karolinum in Prague.
