The 7th Annual Congress of Zoologists from the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic, titled “Zoology 2026,” will take place at the faculty from November 18–20, 2026. The event is organized by the Department of Zoology at the Institute of Biology and Ecology, Faculty of Science, P. J. Šafárik University in Košice, in cooperation with the Slovak Zoological Society at the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
The aim of the event is to present findings from various areas of zoological research, to draw inspiration from new trends in zoology, and to bring together the community of Slovak and Czech zoologists and zoology enthusiasts.
Researchers, teachers, and students from all academic institutions, as well as government officials and nature conservationists from both Slovakia and the Czech Republic, are welcome, along with representatives of government and non-governmental organizations who study fauna and analyze it from various perspectives.
