The aim of the pilot scientific-artistic project is to expound the results of the researchers' work of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Science of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University and the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Košice to the general public by means of images, which refer to an interesting diagnostical potential of the original view of the human tear fluid in case of various illnesses.
Open Door Day starts at 8:30 am with meeting successful faculty graduates, their interesting contributions and discussion about their experience at the Faculty and their successful implementation in practice.

Physicists of Košice from Institute of Experimental Physics SAS and Faculty of Science of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in the field of Low-T emperature Physics have achieved excellent results in the long term. The latest success of the joint low-temperature workplace of the IoEP SAS and FoS UPJŠ in Košice, the "Košice" Center for Low Temperature Physics (CFNT), is the approval of financing of the European Microkelvin Platform (EMP) project in amount 10 million EURO.
At its 109th Session, the Accreditation Commission assessed the creative activity of top teams accepted in the first Call after three years of their work. The top teams of QMAGNA and Bioaktiv, representing the Faculty of Sciences of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, successfully passed the reevaluation.
