On October 9, 2025, members of the Department of Public Law Disciplines of the Faculty of Public Administration at UPJŠ in Košice participated in an international scientific conference in Budapest entitled Lawyers and Officials on the Borderline. Central European Heroes and Antiheroes of Law in the 19th and 20th Centuries.
The conference was organized by the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Social Science Research Center of ELTE (Eötvös Loránd University), the Department of Eastern and Central European History and Historical Russian Studies at ELTE, and the St. Adalbert Foundation for Research in Central and Eastern Europe.
The accompanying program also included a meeting with representatives of the Slovak national self-government in Hungary and a visit to the Hungarian Parliament.
