Faculty of Public Administration of UPJŠ in Košice organized the first event within the framework of the implementation of the project activities of the project Future of Public Administration (FoPA).
On Tuesday, May 18, was held the KickOff Meeting related to the currently ongoing introductory phase of the project Future of Public Administration (FoPA).
The project teams of the cooperating institutions of the Faculty of Public Administration of UPJŠ in Košice, the National University of V. N. Karazin in Khharkov and the Slovak Corpus of Ukrainian Students discussed about the implementation of the project activities, diskutovali o realizácii projektových aktivít, about the ways how to achieve the set indicators, specification of the project schedule in the context of the set project milestones, as well as other details of the project implementation.
The indroductory part of the KickOff Meeting was also attended by representatives of the management of the partner universities, namely the Rector of the National University of V. N. Karazin in Kharkov, professor Vil S. Bakirov and Vice-Rector for International Relations and Mobility of UPJŠ in Košice, doc. Ing. Silvia Ručinská, PhD., as well as JUDr. Roman Dohovič, the representative of the non-profit organization the Slovak Corpus of Ukrainian Students, which is also participating in the project activities. The Dean of the Faculty of Public Administration of UPJŠ in Košice, doc. JUDr. Mgr. Michal Jesenko, PhD., who attended the KickOff Meeting in person, emphasized in particular the contribution of the project in the context of improving the quality of the educational process at cooperating universities in both countries.

Projekt Future of Public Administration GGC01009 is implemented within Good Governance and Cross-Border Cooperation Programme.
The Future of Public Administration benefits from € 218,932 grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants. The project has been co-financed from the State Budget of the Slovak Republic in the amount of 32 840 €. The aim of the project is to improve the public integrity and accountability in the context of the application of the principles of good governance.
