Student Card (PIK ISIC)
A student ID card is an international multifunctional card and a document confirming the legal status of a student, entitling them to enjoy the rights and benefits of a student arising from laws, internal regulations of the university, and agreements with other legal entities. This document also serves to verify the information recorded therein.
The card is issued to students after they have been entered into the student register.
The renewal fee is paid only by persons who already have a student ID card (PIK ISIC) – in this case, contact the Automatic Identification of Persons Administration, which will generate a fee for you, which you will pay only after the payment order has been generated in the Academic Information System (you will find the information in the Unpaid Fees section).
Accommodation
The accommodation request is part of the electronic return form.
Accommodation is allocated according to the waiting list.
If you are a holder of a severely disabled person’s card, or you are an orphan/half-orphan and are interested in accommodation, please send proof of this (a copy of your severely disabled person’s card or the death certificate of your parent(s)) to the FVS Study Department by 15 July 2025.
Information about the acceptance (allocation)/non-acceptance (non-allocation) of accommodation and the location of accommodation can be found in the Academic Information System in the “Accommodation Requests” section between August 25 and 28, 2025.
Fees
Payments must be made only by bank transfer or via a payment gateway.
The payment order can be generated from the electronic return form after it has been confirmed. All bank symbols are mandatory. First generate the fee in the Academic Information System and then pay it. Each fee must be paid separately.
Registration
If you confirm your interest in studying by returning the electronic form, we invite you to register for the first year of study.
Registration will take place on September 3, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Public Administration of PJSU in Košice at Popradská 66 in Košice.
When registering, you must have the following available:
▷ ID card,
▷ an original or officially certified photocopy of birth certificate,
▷ a proof of payment of the student card fee (PIK ISIC)
▷ 1 photo for documents (4.5 x 6.5 cm)

Information about selection of a foreign language
The European Public Administration study program also includes a compulsory subject – a foreign language.
The options:
▷ 1st foreing language for EPA I and II (English language)
▷ 1st foreign language for EPA I and II (German language)
Please notify us of your decision regarding your language choice by email at fvs-cjazyk-evs@upjs.sk no later than on July 15, 2025. Please include your first and last name and your language choice (i.e., “English” or “German“) in the body of the email.

Tuition Fee
In accordance with Rector’s Decision No. 9/2025 on the determination of tuition fees, fees related to studies, and reimbursement of costs related to improving qualifications in the 2025/2026 academic year at UPJŠ in Košice, the annual tuition fee for first-cycle study programs in the external form of study at the Faculty of Public Administration is € 750 per academic year.
The decision on the determination of tuition fees will be delivered to students after administrative registration. Tuition fees must be paid after receiving the decision on the determination of tuition fees.
