Four representatives of the Department of British and American Studies FF UPJŠ visited the European Day of Languages event organized by the Library of Szabó Lőrinc in Miskolc on 24 September 2021. The meeting was a great opportunity to socialize with enthusiast of foreign languages who were interested in the work of an accredited EU interpreter. Our colleague, Mgr. Roman Gajdoš, demonstrated consecutive interpretation with one of our graduates Mgr. Bianka Žigraiová (AJFJEIEm), who consecutively interpreted into Hungarian from English, French and Slovak languages. Mgr. Július Rozenfeld, PhD. introduced details of the work at the BAS FF UPJŠ department and spoke about the opportunities that our university offers for students and, together with Dr. h. c. doc. Mgr. Slávka Tomaščíková, PhD., answered their questions.
