Erasmus+ mobility as a facilitator of international cooperation at BAS FF UPJŠ

1minút, 17sekúnd

Just like the first two weeks of May, the second half of the month is also marked by the Erasmus+ mobility of employees from partner universities at the Department of British and American Studies FF UPJŠ. Four colleagues from the Ukrainian partner Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University came for teaching and training mobilities to meet the Department’s students in classes and discuss with the department’s teachers new possibilities for cooperation in scientific research and pedagogical activities. This university is one of the oldest partners of our Department, and with its Department of English we have a double master’s degree scheme, which so far has been successfully completed by 6 students from Ukraine and one student of BAS FF UPJŠ.
On the other hand, two teachers from Kazakhstan’s Kokshetau State University are coming to BAS FF UPJŠ this week for the first time as part of Erasmus+ mobilities, and there will certainly be a lot to talk about not only during their training activities but also during the social program that we have prepared for all guests during this period.
At BAS FF UPJŠ, we consider Erasmus+ mobilities to be a very valuable and useful opportunity not only to establish new cooperation, but also to build and expand the existing one. Personal meetings and long professional discussions in the presence of both parties, exchange of ideas and experiences cannot be replaced by anything else.
