On Thursday, the 7th of February 2019, the Department of British and American Studies FF UPJŠ hosted the regional round of the Human Rights Olympiad. Almost 50 participants from secondary schools of the Košice region proved that young people take interest in humanities as well as the current problems of our society. We believe that there will be more such activities in cooperation with the Regional Youth Centre in the near future, and we look forward to hosting similar events at our department.
